Hartford is not dead!

I am so over people's negative attitudes about how "dead" the City of Hartford is. The general perception is that there is nothing to do here.  We are certainly not Boston or New York City, but do you realize for a city of our size that we have over 25 different arts and entertainment venues/organizations here?  I can almost hear you complaining that those 25+ venues/organizations don't really provide any entertainment that you would be interested in.  And I am here to say that if you were in Boston or New York City that you would probably find the same variety.   Hartford is not dead!  There is actually quite a lot to do here and people would realize this if they stop segregating  themselves into categories (i.e. things West Indian people would do; things health conscious people would do etc.).  Just embrace all that is good and positive that the City offers and get out and enjoy it.
